Our story

The Daily Larder started with a simple frustration: holiday let owners juggling supermarket runs, guests arriving to empty fridges, and good local produce sitting on farms with no easy way to reach the doors that wanted it.

We reckoned the old-fashioned milk round — fresh, personal, doorstep-delivered — was exactly what self-catering stays were missing. So we rebuilt it for the way people travel today: order online, pay securely, and wake up to a doorstep full of local essentials.

We deliver farm-fresh milk, bread, eggs and everyday essentials to holiday lets across the West Country — before 7am, so your guests' first morning starts with breakfast already on the step. Each property gets its own QR code for instant reordering, and owners can track every order from their own portal.

Everything is packed the evening before delivery, with allergens labelled clearly and use-by dates noted on every pack. It's the care of a traditional milkman, with the convenience of an app.

What began with a handful of Somerset properties now serves holiday lets across the region — each one with a personalised reorder code, a curated shop, and a delivery driver who knows the route. We're still small enough to pack every order by hand, and proud of it.
